Themed Song:

You Can Hear
(Tune: She’ll Be Coming Round the Mountain)
You can hear the lions roaring at the zoo, ROAR! ROAR!
You can hear the lions roaring at the zoo, ROAR! ROAR!
You can hear the lions roaring, you can hear the lions roaring
You can hear the lions roaring at the zoo! ROAR! ROAR!
(Elephants trumpeting, snake hissing, monkey eeking)

Animal Sounds

I made this one up myself, and it’s a lot of fun. I use my library’s Freegal database and download real animal sounds. I then play them and have the kids shout out which animal it is. You start off with easy farm animals, and then get harder like lions and zebras and hyenas (my favorite).
